Launch of Rhyme Rag
Next Wednesday, the launch of the fourth issue of Ryhme Rag will take place in no.72 John Street. Everyone is welcome. Previous years it has been a fantastic night buzzing with energy. Make sure you don't miss it.
I like the comic strip for the poem 'Streaming Towards Ground' because the the man on the surfboard is drawn brilliantly in the rolling wave. He does magnificent flips even when he could drown with the force of the wave. Then, in the last few strips, it all just disappears like nothing happened at all.
I think 'Morphine' by Sorcha Reilly is a good poem because I think it is about a woman who gets beaten by her partner."Please undo what you've done". She still loves him because she is addicted to him. "Yours is the smile of the cocaine dumb".
I liked 'Dance of Life' because it is a good outsider view of a teenager's life and the challenges they face everyday; "the first step then second, and on and on until they arrive back where they started from."
My favourite poem is /Morphine'. I liked this poem because it told two different stories in one. It told a story about the drug morphine and also a story about the love between two people. The stanza I think that showed this best was the one where she says 'yours are the hands of the morphine touch'.
My favourite poem is an unnamed poem by Àine Keegan. It's a brilliant poem with fantastic pictures(Well done Alè). It has a brilliant line in it; "Choke my greedy heart with desolate, mournful tears". Absolutely fantastic.
My favourite cartoon strip out of all is 'Ocean's Jewel'.I like this cartoon strip becouse it's on a full page like a jig-saw that you can put together to form a nice, interesting picture. When I look at the picture it reminds me of my holiday in Greece last year.
The launch was brilliant, thanks to all who organized it and gave us such a brilliant chance to have our work published. Particular thanks to Alé for the brilliant illustrations and setting up the blog!

These are fantastic comments.
Thanks so much for that.
I can't wait for all the authors to contribute to the blog so you can put these opinions directly to them.
Thanks again
Alé
